About Us:

SpreadMyCV.com is the first free job board for both, job seekers and employers. Job seekers can upload their CVs and search for jobs for free.  Job seekers also have an optional service to send their CVs to the hiring managers of a certain industry within the country of their choice.  Employers can post their vacancies and search through SpreadMyCV.com’s database using their state-of-the-art search filters.

SpreadMyCV.com opened to the world in March of 2010 and has taken the Middle East by storm.  The idea behind SpreadMyCV.com came in the midst of the global recession as a record number of companies went out of business and others reached record setting deficits.  While working in the recruiting industry for one of the region’s leading recruitment organizations, it became clear to SpreadMyCV.com’s founders that hiring budgets for even the biggest of companies were drastically shrinking. Simultaneously, a record number of job seekers were visiting job boards and contacting recruiting agencies frantically looking for jobs. The increasing numbers of candidates were competing to land jobs from a pie that got smaller with every passing day. Even more daunting, the barrier between jobseekers and employers became increasingly apparent as unemployment rose to record levels. The challenges became very clear.

In response to the growing barrier, SpreadMyCV.com’s founders put their vision to work, setting up a recruitment organization focusing on a wide spectrum; from small businesses to enterprises with little to no recruiting budgets. The current market for job recruiting is ripe as improving economic conditions allow for increased employment.

To help expedite the economic recovery, SpreadMyCV.com decided to focus especially on small to medium businesses as their employees account for nearly 70% of the workforce in the UAE and that number is mirrored throughout the Middle East.  In order to encourage these companies to begin recruiting, speed up their hiring processes and save them recruitment costs, SpreadMyCV.com is dedicated to making their job boards absolutely free.   

SpreadMyCV.com has embarked on ambitious plans of being the first recruiting channel to be used by every employer, recruiter and job seeker in the region.  Being the only completely free website, SpreadMyCV.com hopes to re-spark growth in the region by helping companies save on recruitment costs. Those savings can be set aside to re-invest into their respective companies to make them more competitive and grow faster.

Since the company’s soft launch in March, 2010, hundreds of employers and thousands of job seekers have already registered and there have been many success stories.  Since virtually every employer has access to SpreadMyCV.com’s database, the chances for job seekers to find posts are much higher.

In order to ensure the security of SpreadMyCV.com’s job seekers, employers who register on SpreadMyCV.com need to register with their company email address and SpreadMyCV.com checks their credentials to ensure that they are legitimate businesses.
